Rangers made the long trip up to Dingwall on Wednesday and will have travelled back to Glasgow in buoyant mood after picking up all three points in a commanding 4-0 victory against Ross County.
Steven Gerrard was forced into a few changes including Wes Foderingham replacing Allan McGregor in goals, although in fairness McGregor could’ve played such was Foderingham’s level of involvement. Steven Davis was rested and Ryan Kent was left out as a precaution given his recent return to fitness.
The under-performing duo of Sheyi Ojo and Scott Arfield were tasked with providing the ammunition for Alfredo Morelos and both players were outstanding, providing a constant threat to the County defence, Ojo’s interplay with Joe Aribo a particular highlight of the evening.
Ryan Jack also returned after sitting out the weekend fixture and proved just how much a miss he was with a man-of-the-match performance featuring two beautifully taken long range efforts.
These Rangers fans took to Twitter to celebrate the win and the bonus of closing the goal difference gap on Celtic to just one point:

A very strong and comfortable performance tonight. Some fans had us beat when Gerrard announced his team and, if anything, I’m disappointed we didn’t score more in the end. I wish some fans would trust our manager, he knows more about football and his players than you.
