Loads of Rangers fans have been left praising midfielder Scott Arfield after the club posted a video message from the 31-year-old on their official Twitter account.
In the clip, Arfield reiterated the Government’s guidelines in an effort to combat the coronavirus epidemic, urging people to wash their hands and to keep their distance when leaving the house. He also gave a special mention to NHS workers and keyworkers who are doing everything they can to help at this time, whilst insisting that football takes a back seat at the moment as the important thing is to keep everybody safe.
Arfield has been a Gers player since joining them from Burnley in 2018 and he has played 94 games for them in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing 12 assists in that time (Transfermarkt).
Plenty of Rangers supporters have been responding to the 19-time Canada international’s message, with the majority full of praise for him. Here is what some had to say…
A real rangers player who gives 100% for the jersey!
