Rangers: Fans react to throwback footage of Vladimir Weiss’ unstoppable display at Motherwell

Loads of Rangers fans have been reacting to the club’s ‘goal of the day’, as the Gers’ official Twitter account shared a stunning goal by former loan star Vladimir Weiss.
Loan signings are always a bit hit and miss – just look at Ryan Kent and Sheyi Ojo, one of whom was so good last season the club signed him permanently last summer while the other has incensed fans with his performances this term… sorry Sheyi.
Weiss could certainly go in the hit department though, registering five goals and 15 assists in the 2010/11 campaign while on loan from Manchester City. His best performance came away at Motherwell, where he set up two goals and scored one in a 4-1 win, despite only playing 73 minutes.
The club posted footage of his fantastic individual goal, in which he picked up the ball from Steven Davis before ghosting past two defenders and finishing calmly into the bottom corner.

Right gers fans. I do not want to see any tweets saying Gerrard should bring him back.

Still would put more fight than most of the squad in today’s team!
