Amidst the current postponement of football in Scotland, Rangers fans are finding other ways of getting their daily fix of football. On Monday, fans were reminiscing about one of the club’s recent fixtures from their time in the Scottish Championship.
During the festive period of 2015, Gers took on Hibernian in the second tier and it proved to be an enthralling encounter. A Jason Holt brace and a goal apiece from Nicky Clark and Martyn Waghorn was enough for the Ibrox outfit to see off Hibs (via BBC).
One fan labelled the game ‘some night’.

Overall, the Ibrox outfit have enjoyed the better of the meetings between the two sides, having won 179 times and lost just 56 matches against the Edinburgh side (via Football). Supporters remembered the game with fondness as they took to Twitter to react to a post of Holt’s equalising goal (O/S Rangers Culture) on the night. Here is a selection of tweets:

This was for me the first time Ibrox felt like a proper big game atmosphere since the demotion. We were shocked when we got to gate 15 mins before ko & missed the start but the place was bouncing! Brilliant day!
