Rangers: Fans reminisce over Neil McCann - Rangers

A photo of Neil McCann posted on Twitter got a number of Rangers fans thinking back and remembering how good he was during his playing days for them.

OldRangersPics uploaded a picture of the former Scotland international on the social media site, which had plenty of the club’s faithful looking back in nostalgia.

The left-sided winger managed to amass 142 appearances for the Light Blues during his time at the club, scoring 22 times, as per data collected by World Football.

Having since retired, the 45-year-old has gone into management – although he currently remains unemployed after a less than impressive stint at Dundee – and also had a spell working as a pundit for Sky Sports on their Scottish football coverage.

A number of the fans that had commented on the picture had left their opinions on McCann, with many appearing to have favourable memories of the attacker.

Some stated that he was a good player for Rangers during his time at Ibrox, although one mentioned he could have stepped up another level during his time.

Here are just some of the thoughts some of the Light Blues’ faithful had regarding McCann…
