Rangers: Fans unhappy over Greg Stewart not getting a game against Young Boys

Steven Gerrard’s decision to bring on Sheyi Ojo for Ryan Kent in the 78th minute of Rangers’ 1-1 draw against Young Boys last night left a lot of ‘Gers supporters unimpressed.
A large portion of the Light Blues faithful took to Twitter to say that they would rather have seen Greg Stewart being deployed from the bench instead of the 22-year-old.
Stewart, who scored two goals in a 16-minute substitute appearance against Hearts recently, has struggled for game-time at Rangers this season, having started just five matches in all competitions and played for only 25 minutes in the Europa League group stage.
He has been reasonably effective with the game-time that he has been given so far in 2019/20, with three goals and four assists from 502 minutes giving him an average of one goal per 167.33 minutes and an assist every 125.5 minutes.
These Rangers fans on Twitter were unhappy to see the 29-year-old striker being overlooked last night:
I’m also getting a bit concerned with the subs we use! Why throw ojo on! Put Greg Stewart on and shore it up! Still think we need proper defensive mid and proper competition for Tav! 🇬🇧

Greg Stewart must wonder what he needs to do when Ojo is constantly ahead of him
