Plenty of Rangers fans have been reacting to comments made by Steven Gerrard in this morning’s press conference, with many voicing their disapproval with what the manager had to say.
Ahead of tomorrow’s Premiership clash against Livingston at Ibrox, the 39-year-old said that “nobody will give anything up” under his watch and added that his team “need to be more ruthless in the final third” after several poor results of late (as per rangers.co.uk).
🎙️ SG: We were managing games very well to get the results we required in the first half of the season. We need to be more ruthless in the final third.

Rangers were only two points behind league leaders Celtic over the winter break but, while the Hoops have won all six of their league games since then, the ‘Gers have lost at Hearts and Kilmarnock as well as drawing at home to Aberdeen, results which have seen them fall 10 points off the lead. Gerrard’s comments about the need to be more ruthless are backed up by them having four times more shots than Aberdeen, twice as many shots as Kilmarnock and three more than Hearts in those fateful matches.
These fans of the Light Blues weren’t impressed by the manager’s remarks and took to Twitter to vent their frustrations:
Too late. See ya.
