Many Rangers fans have been urging the club to complete the signing of Florian Kamberi on a permanent deal.
The calls come after a supporter of the 0utfit named True Blues Loyal asked the faithful whether they’d sign the player in the summer transfer window. Kamberi was brought in from Gers’ Scottish Premiership rivals Hibernian on a loan deal for the remainder of the campaign back in January. He’s been in decent form for the Glasgow side, scoring a goal and getting an assist in the team’s 2-2 draw with St Johnstone as he helped rescue a point (Transfermarkt).
The £675k-rated, as per Transfermarkt, Swiss-born forward was compared to Celtic ace Odsonne Edouard by Alan Hutton, who hailed Kamberi’s impact since his move. However, any plan to sign the player could prove to be a struggle with Football Insider revealing Steven Gerrard’s team don’t have the option of making his temporary move a permanent one.
Fans were adamant he should be snapped up by the club as they took to Twitter to respond to the query. Here are some tweets:
Absolute no brainer on this one, I been a fan of him for years, this lad has a lot to his game always showing hunger, can hold the ball up well , not scared to run at defenders and knows where the goal is.
