Rangers: Fans welcome back Jordan Jones after comeback against Ross County - Rangers

A few Rangers fans were welcoming back Jordan Jones after the winger made appeared in the side’s 1-0 win over Ross County.

Steven Gerrard’s men secured a narrow victory thanks to Ryan Kent, whose effort on goal was deflected by the unfortunate Richard Foster (via BBC). Jones came on in the 77th-minute as he replaced Glen Kamara to make his first appearance since the 2-1 win over Hibernian back at the beginning of February.

One fan compared him with Sheyi Ojo.

He’s struggled with a knee injury this season and has featured in just 13 games across all competitions for the Glasgow outfit (via Transfermarkt). According to the Daily Mail, he is one of a few players who are likely to be moved on this summer. However, it would prove to be a baffling decision as the £675k-rated, as per Transfermarkt, ace only joined the club in last summer’s transfer window.

Supporters were full of good messages as they took to Twitter to welcome back the player from his spell on the sidelines. Here are a selection of the reactions to Jones’ post-match tweet:
