Rangers: Fans were far from thrilled with Steven Gerarrd’s starting XI vs Motherwell

Rangers battled to a 2-1 victory against Motherwell on Sunday with several first-team regulars omitted from the starting line-up.
Steven Gerrard had hinted that there wouldn’t be many changes following the 1-1 mid-week draw with Porto but decided to tinker with his midfield and forwards.
Joe Aribo, Scott Arfield, Greg Stewart and Jermain Defoe all made the team sheet to freshen things up but Rangers looked stale as stumbled into half-time at 1-1.
The main talking point for Rangers fans was that it looked like a positive line-up but the sizeable omissions of Ryan Jack, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos created apprehension about the possibility of them dropping points.
Rangers improved in the second-half after some stern words from Gerrard but he would be concerned about having to introduce his big hitters to make an impact on Motherwell’s defence.
Fans of the Gers took to twitter at the announcement of the starting line-up concerned about big names being rested.
Bit confusing not gonna lie lads
