Rangers fans here in the Tavern are hoping for a positive finish to the current campaign, as they continue to chase a European spot for next season.
The Bluenoses looked less than convincing prior to the international break as they suffered two successive defeats, with their next game against Motherwell being of great importance. And, many of our local residents received some positive news prior to the Scottish Premier League clash, as according to the Scottish Sun’s pre-match team news, Graham Dorrans is set to return to the squad and will play for the first time under Graeme Murty.
Graham Dorrans has been out of action since limping off during a 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock back in October, and had surgery on his ankle in December which has kept him out of action up to this point.
However, Rangers fans will be delighted that the Scotsman can finally return to action, as they’ll need his quality and experience in their season-defining clash against Motherwell. And, with the 30-year-old set to play his first minutes under Graeme Murty in the current campaign, this will hand the Bluenoses an extra boost prior to kick-off.
Graham Dorrans’ return is huge for Rangers as one of the more experienced players in the first-team squad, with five goals to his name already. So, many of our local residents now believe that a trip to Motherwell will reward them with three points, as the experienced Scotsman can offer something different in the final third.
