Despite the optimism abound amongst the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern following their promotion over the summer, it’s not been the best of starts to life in the SPFL.
The Gers were expected to challenge bitter rivals Celtic at its summit, though problems on and off the field have them lying in 7th as things stand.
Now, as reported by the Scottish Sun, the problems at Ibrox continue.
Manager Mark Warburton has been handed a one-game ban for his conduct towards referee John Beaton following the loss at Aberdeen last weekend.
After levelling the scores, a controversial free-kick was awarded to the Dons, with James Maddison firing a stunning effort in as a result.
It was a frustrating game for the former Brentford boss, who is then said to have hurled abusive and offensive language at the official.
As a result, he has been charged with misconduct for his behaviour at Pittodrie and reportedly has until Oct.13 to appeal.
Will Warburton last the season at Ibrox? Let us know below…
