Rangers have probably even surprised themselves this season as to how well they have been playing under the management of Steven Gerrard.
The Gers are closing in on deadly rivals Celtic in the league, whilst they also eye European success as well, a great start to managerial life for Gerrard it goes without saying.
Yes they have been very good but yet still, fans are left thinking that Rangers could be an even better side.
Squad depth will play a massive part in how successful they turn out to be this season and with the experience this midfielder has, he is a must-buy for the Gers.
That player is Gerrard’s former team-mate and now Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam.
Adam, who is valued at £1.8 million on Transfermarkt, failed to rule out whether a move back to Scotland and Rangers was a possibility.
With his contract ending in the summer, this will be Stoke’s last opportunity to secure some monetary value for the man who has played just 55 minutes of Championship football this season.
Rangers surely won’t mind paying for such an experienced player, who could still bring a lot to the club even at the age of 32.
Gerrard knows the traits and strengths Adam possesses from their time together at Liverpool and if the two were to link up again, it would only be for the benefit of Rangers.
Seemingly, it won’t take a lot for Charlie Adam to move back to Scotland and with the team progressing game by game, he could bring stability, knowledge and passion – characteristics the Rangers faithful will surely love.
