Rangers rocked as key duo snub new deals, talks continue

Ahead of what promises to be an extremely exciting season for Rangers as they gear up for a return to top flight Scottish football, the Gers in the Transfer Tavern have been met with some mightily unwelcome news.

Though they’ve been able to enjoy a whopping eight new signings, a story from The Scottish Sun claims two of their first-team stars have snubbed attempts to keep them at Ibrox.

Both James Tavernier and Martyn Waghorn are understood to have REJECTED overtures from in the club to keep them in Glasgow, though are not opposed to the idea of fresh talks.

Tavernier notched an incredible 15 goals and was a mainstay in Mark Warburton’s side, while Waghorn hit 28 times as the Glasgow giants stormed to the Championship title.

The club are also believed to be frustrated in their attempts to tie Warburton himself down to a new deal at Ibox, though remain optimistic.

Do Rangers have any chance of beating Celtic to the league next year?
