Steven Gerrard remains entrusted by Rangers fans to deliver success this season, whether it be domestically or in Europe.
Rangers look a completely different side to the one they were last season and now full of confidence under Steven Gerrard, the sky is the limit for their talented bunch of players.
They have made an impressive start to the campaign and now with the January transfer window approaching, there isn’t as much work needed compared to years gone by.
Rangers’ team isn’t perfect and it could still be improved though, specifically with another forward in their ranks. With their striker options all fairly similar, recruiting highly-rated Borussia Dortmund star Alexander Isak is a decision they should take seriously.
Isak, who is valued at £4 million on Transfermarkt, is a youngster that many believed would be the next best thing in European football, an opinion yet to come to fruition.
The 19-year-old has since been playing for Borussia Dortmund’s youth side, where he has notched up five goals and two assists in nine games this season.
Isak, who was dubbed as the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic due to his height and the fact he is also Swedish, has yet to be given a shot the season, despite being the only out-and-out striker that Dortmund have apart from Pace Alcacer.
Rangers have relied on a number of different goalscorer this season and Alexander Isak could be another, given the chance.
At just 19-years-old, he has time to become the forward many believed he would be and if the Gers could be part of his improvement stage, both parties could benefit massively.
