Rangers star told to stay at home by Caixinha – Report

The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern are wholly expectant of a big performance away at Hamilton tonight.

Indeed, our local Light Blues are eager to see Pedro Caixinha’s men put last weekend’s loss to Celtic behind them and return to winning ways down at the SuperSeal this evening.

With that in mind, reports from the Scottish Sun have proven rather interesting.

They claim the Portuguese tactician has told Kenny Miller to stay at HOME tonight, rather than join up with the rest of his teammates for the game. The veteran striker was in last week’s squad, though has reportedly been told he won’t be needed for the Hamilton clash, only a few days after reports emerged claiming Caixinha had blasted his squad for a lack of togetherness.

Whether that has any meaning to Miller’s situation remains to be seen, though the form of Alfredo Morelos means the veteran Scot is no longer a first choice for the Ibrox giants.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Perhaps this provides an insight into the situation behind the scenes for Rangers. Miller is a vastly experienced figure and if he’s kicking up a fuss, it could have a wider impact on the dressing room.
