Rangers: Supporter’s tweet about Alfredo Morelos and Florian Kamberi splits opinion among these fans - Rangers

Plenty of Rangers fans have been reacting to a post from ‘Gers supporter Chris McLaughlin on Twitter (@Chr1sMcLaughlin) in which he suggested that Florian Kamberi should come into the team in place of Alfredo Morelos, with many of the Ibrox faithful divided on the subject.

While Morelos is the top scorer in Steven Gerrard’s squad with 29 goals this season, he is now scoreless in five Premiership appearances since the winter break, with his last league goal coming nearly two months ago (as per TransferMarkt). He had the ball in the net against Livingston on Sunday but the goal was disallowed for offside, the second successive game in which he had a goal ruled out after the Kilmarnock match last week.

Kamberi came off the bench against Livingston and has yet to start a league game for Rangers since joining on loan from Hibernian last month, although he too had a goal disallowed on Sunday. The topic of him potentially replacing Morelos in the team, as suggested by McLaughlin, drew mixed opinion from these ‘Gers fans on Twitter – some agreed with the proposed move while others stated that the two strikers should play up top together:

Do you think Kamberi should be in the team ahead of Morelos or would you rather see the two Rangers men on the pitch together? Join in the discussion by commenting below!
