Rangers: These fans are cautiously optimistic ahead of trip to Hibernian - Rangers

Rangers will have the chance to move to within two points of the Scottish Premiership summit tonight.

Steven Gerrard’s men travel to Easter Road to take on Hibernian, whose recently-appointed manager Jack Ross has overseen three wins out of six games since taking charge during the November international break.

Rangers returned to winning ways at Motherwell last Sunday after failing to win their previous three matches in all competitions (via TransferMarkt), with Celtic’s midweek victory at Hearts enabling Neil Lennon’s side to extend their lead at the top to five points.

Ahead of the game, Rangers supporter @Cjnovo992 on Twitter asked followers for their predictions, with the vast majority anticipating an away win.

Some think that it will be a comfortable night for the ‘Gers, who thrashed their Edinburgh opponents 6-1 at Ibrox when the teams last met in August, Jermain Defoe hitting a hat-trick that day.

However, with Rangers winless in their last three visits to Easter Road, these fans of the Light Blues are expecting their team to face a very stern challenge from Hibernian tonight before prevailing with the three points:
