Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern will be pleased with the start to life Steven Gerrard has had at Ibrox this summer, and will be keen to see what he can continue to bring.
The Liverpool legend has already been making a number of signings this summer, having added six names already, yet it appears that one name will not be joining him anytime soon.
And that’s because, when asked on Twitter by one of the residents, reliable Gers source Four Lads Had a Dream stated that they had no idea about the possibility of Phil Foden joining them on loan from Manchester City, thus quashing recent rumours linking the Light Blues with the attacking sensation.
No idea, completely new name suggested tbf

The bloggers, who have proven to be a reliable source of information for all things Rangers in the past, do not appear to know too much about the possible rumour and have suggested that it is a completely new name to them, in news which is unlikely to delight our resident Gers fans given how much talent and potential the City youngster has.
Landlord’s Verdict: Rangers have been busy in the transfer window this summer, and it is no real surprise that a host of names have been linked with a move to Ibrox since Gerrard arrived as manager.
The idea of Foden joining the club seems to be a little far-fetched at the moment, especially as he is highly-rated by current boss Pep Guardiola, and appears to be a name that has just been thrown into the rumour mill.
