Rangers will feel ecstatic to have made a positive start to their Europa League campaign, having drawn away from home against Villarreal and hope to carry on that form in future games.
As well as early European success, Rangers have also under Steven Gerrard started well in the league which leads fans to believe the former England midfielder is set to become a top manager and one who could bring silverware back to Ibrox.
To enjoy a successful first season in charge though, it may be advised Rangers explored the transfer market once again in January and recruited a handy midfielder like Leicester’s Hamza Choudhury.
Choudhury, (who is valued at £900k on Transfermarkt) a young English midfielder, enjoyed a breakthrough season under Claude Puel last season but now after the Foxes invested heavily over the summer, that place in the team will be a lot harder to preserve, meaning a move out on-loan could be the best thing for the Englishman at this stage.
The defensive-minded midfielder made eight Premier League appearances last season and was impressive for the Foxes.
His ability to get around the pitch with ease leads many to believe that the athletic midfielder would be a solid addition for Rangers and a player who could potentially have a telling impact under Steven Gerrard.
Choudhury is strong and physical, good in the air but also as a midfielder, has a good eye for a pass allowing the more attacking players to be set away on an attack.
Rangers are a team looking to eclipse deadly rivals Celtic for the first time in years and although Choudhury alone couldn’t have much to do with that, him as well as others could link together to form a greater Rangers side.
