The Rangers fans within the Transfer Tavern are sick of their rivals Celtic continuing to progress on an upward trajectory because their side are again settling for second best.
The Gers have been used to finishing behind Celtic for a number of years now but our punters are really fed up with that and demand change in the summer to try and eclipse their rivals.
Change can come in the form of many different varieties but specifically, Rangers want fresh faces in the team to fight for the badge and help better their chances in the Premiership as well as the European competition the Gers may qualify for next season.
A player who certainly has experience and the correct work ethic to help Rangers out is Stoke City’s Darren Fletcher, who is valued at £1.80 million on Transfermarkt. The Scotsman has played 80 games for his country and has been a prominent figure in the Premier League ever since his arrival there with Manchester United in 2001.
Fletcher this season has still kept up his usual standards and the 34-year-old has made 27 appearances in all competitions. Rangers seem to be lacking a real leader within their ranks and with the vast experience Darren Fletcher has, his signature should be one they push for, should he favour a new challenge in Scotland over a miserable season in the Championship.
Many would be put off by a central-midfielder who is 34-years-old but realistically, Fletcher is still a solid performer and if you add him to the Rangers team, he has the correct mentality to push the Gers forward.
