Though not all too many are giving them a chance, the Rangers fans here in the Transfer Tavern believe they can get a win against Celtic this weekend.
Indeed, the Gers host the Scottish champions on Saturday afternoon and the punters propping up our bar hope Pedro Caixinha’s men can spring a surprise against them. One man in particular, Alfredo Morelos, is being cited as the Light Blues’ main hope.
The Colombian marksman has already bagged eight goals for Rangers since joining in the summer and a report in the Daily Record has shed light on the 21-year-old’s good start to life in Glasgow.
While he has apparently urged his player to start learning English, Caixinha’s mix of players from Spanish speaking countries looks to be helping the 21-year-old take to life in Scotland.
“The one thing I would like Alfredo to do is learn some English and I’ve been telling him this for a long time now”, said the agent.
”He needs to learn it one day but he’s been in Europe for some time now and he hasn’t really bothered to learn it. Hopefully that will happen but it does help when there are so many Spanish speakers in the team.
“Maybe he has to learn Scottish first and that’s not the easiest language in the world!”
Who cares what language he speaks when he’s scoring goals? If he can notch the winner against Celtic, the whole of Ibrox might just start speaking Spanish!
