Rangers fans here in the Tavern are eager for improvements, after a run of post-sacking results have the Glasgow faithful fearing the worst. Despite all the controversy, the Bluenoses have enjoyed quite an impressive start to proceedings, as they find themselves 6 points adrift of leaders Celtic. However, if Gers are going to challenge their bitter rivals at the summit, then a managerial appointment will need to be made imminently for their currently vacant spot.

There was a sense of relief when Dave King decided to axe former manager Pedro Caixinha, after defeat at Motherwell and a draw against Kilmarnock. Now a month on from the departure, there still seems to be no progress having been made on the search for a managerial replacement, which has caused for some slightly concerned faces around the Tavern.
Still, with no replacement in sight, Our Landlord decided to throw up a poll in order to allow fans to vote on whether they believe that Dave King was too quick to fire the gun at their former gaffer, and a convincing 60% of the Ibrox barmy army shared the opinion that Rangers were correct to fire Pedro Caixinha when they did.
This was a huge surprise, having taken 9 of a possible 15 points since the manager’s departure, with two of these losses against sides at the bottom half of the table that would surely be ironed out under suitable management. However, you obviously can’t deny just how much the Glasgow fan base wanted to see the back of their former ruler.
But with Rangers currently plying their trade under Caretaker manager Graeme Murty, fans seem satisfied with the club’s current state, so long may the recruiting process continue.
Rangers fans, thoughts?
