Rangers fans here in the Tavern are praying that they don’t suffer any more setbacks on the injury front, as some of their stars continue to ease their way back into training.
Graeme Murty has been hit by a mid-season injury crisis at Ibrox, as Rangers have suffered setbacks that have halted sufficient progress being made in their quest for a European spot. Indeed, the Gers have set their sights on achieving a European place for the second successive season, with Murty doing all he can to ensure he’s given the best possible chance of securing the full-time managerial spot in Glasgow.
However, an injury suffered by veteran Bruno Alves back in December has been one of the turning points so far this season, as the Portuguese defender’s absence has been a damaging one for the Bluenoses. Although, our local residents don’t share the same opinion, with many of the die-hard supporters favouring youth over experience, as David Bates has become a rising star at Ibrox.
Nevertheless, there’s been updates involving Bruno Alves’ injury, as Rangers’ Twitter account took to notifying fans that the central defender has rejoined training today, with manager Graeme Murty positive about the progress.
