There hasn’t been an awful lot to shout about for the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern this season. Indeed, it’s been far from a vintage year at Ibrox, with Pedro Caixinha recently paying the price for a run of poor results.
Perhaps what has summed up the Gers’ plight of late was the fact that none of their homegrown players were called up for the last few Scotland squads, despite Gordon Strachan’s ultimately doomed quest to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
That was a sore point for many of our drinkers, so the fact that summer signing Ryan Jack was recently called up for Malky Mackay’s squad to play Holland later this month was largely celebrated by our local Light Blues.
Graeme Murty has congratulated Ryan Jack on his @ScottishFA call-up – and reckons more Gers could follow.

It’s been a good week for the former Aberdeen man, who also had his red card against Kilmarnock overturned, and here’s a look at how Rangers fans reacted to the club’s post on Twitter celebrating it, with Graeme Murty congratulating him.
Good luck been consistently one of our best players, well deserved
