Rangers have the perfect opportunity to put their miserable time over at Livingston on Sunday behind them, as Steven Gerrard’s men welcome Rapid Wien to Ibrox in the Europa League this evening.
Indeed, the Light Blues suffered perhaps their worst result under their boss in a 0-1 defeat to the Scottish Premiership’s surprise package though, while their domestic form has been patchy at best, European competition has been their saviour.
However, it seems like the tide is turning on one of the key men at Ibrox.
Ahead of the game, the club posted a photo taken in training of defender Nikola Katic somewhat rugby tackling Alfredo Morelos. Harmless enough, right?
Well, the latter has been a rather frustrating figure so far this season. Morelos, who boasts a pretty good scoring record since joining the Gers, has been sent off twice already this season and was recently branded ‘disgraceful’ by Livi striker Lee Miller following his conduct in Sunday’s loss.

As a result, it seems more than a few fans online have started turning on the player, joking about the Katic tackle and making light of his terrible disciplinary record.
Here’s a closer look.
