The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern are rather frustrated right now.
Indeed, while a 1-4 away win over Hamilton Accies is all well and good, the fact the Light Blues still trail the likes of Celtic, Aberdeen and Hibernian has seriously annoyed our resident Gers.
So, with that in mind, it’s time to think of better times.
Yesterday saw the club celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their famous UEFA Cup win over Lyon, on the club’s route to the final in 2007.
It was perhaps Rangers’ most famous European night in recent memory and only serves as an indicator as to how far the club have fallen in the decade since, though it is certainly nice for our punters to think of that celebrated night.
