Two Rangers men who need to impress tonight to help Murty finally win a big game

The Rangers fans here in the Transfer Tavern are nervous ahead of tonight’s trip to Easter Road to play bitter rivals Hibernian. Indeed, while the Gers are on a good run of form, they haven’t won a big game against either Celtic or Hibs for a while now.

To be fair, the Light Blues recently beat another big rival in the shape of Aberdeen, though their overall record against the Hibees of late hasn’t been good. The Leith giants have won the last three games against their Glaswegian counterparts, including the infamous Scottish Cup final back in 2016.

However, interim boss Graeme Murty looks to have turned a corner of late and the Ibrox side have won three games in a row for the first time in months.

Still, a Hibs-Rangers game under the floodlights at Easter Road is always likely to be a feisty affair and the players are going to need a big performance to beat Neil Lennon’s men. With that in mind, here’s a look at two of them.
