Rangers fans here in the Tavern are delighted with the manner of which their side pulled off a 2-0 victory against Hearts at the weekend, as European football is looking likely for the Gers next season.
Indeed, Graeme Murty’s men have been rampant in recent weeks, as memories of a 2-1 defeat against Hibernian now seem to be forgotten by many of our local residents. And, January signing Sean Goss has been a huge part of the success since joining on loan from Queens Park Rangers, as the Glasgow side will have hopes of making this a permanent deal in the summer. Although, this doesn’t appear to be likely, as according to reliable Rangers supporters Twitter account Four Lads Had a Dream, QPR want midfielder Sean Goss back at Loftus Road.
It’s understood that Rangers want to sign midfielder Sean Goss on a permanent deal when his loan expires, despite his parent club establishing that they do not want to sell him. But, manager Graeme Murty does hope that the “fluid” nature of football will persuade the London club to reconsider.
Indeed, the 22-year-old has been an impressive addition to Murty’s squad so far this campaign, as he continues to bring stability to a Rangers side that’s struggled in years gone by. But, it’s not yet known as to whether he’ll be able to carry on producing these types of performances at Ibrox next season, as the Gers remain in the dark about whether there’s a possibility of a return.
Rangers have thoroughly enjoyed having Goss in their side since signing in January, after becoming a regular starter under Graeme Murty. But, it appears that they will face difficulties in producing a permanent deal for the midfielder, with his parent club not willing to sell in the summer. However, they shouldn’t give up all hopes of bringing him to Glasgow upon expiry, as the midfielder is currently enjoying life in Scotland.
