Veteran agrees to join Rangers and Caixinha could seal deal next week

Following the dismal loss to Aberdeen on Wednesday evening, the Rangers fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern just want this season finished with.

The Light Blues have endured a tough campaign since returning to the top flight of Scottish football and the Gers in the bar are hoping for a major rebuild over the course of the summer.

So, reports from the Scottish Sun have gone down a storm today. They’ve revealed Euro 2016 winner Bruno Alves has reportedly agreed to move to Ibrox this summer.

The 35-year-old is understood to have given a personal assurance to Pedro Caixinha that he’s keen on joining his project in Glasgow next season. It’s thought top brass at Ibrox are now locked in talks with Italian side Cagliari as they attempt to strike a deal.

While I Rossoblu are believed to be reluctant to allow Alves to leave, he could reportedly move to Scotland as early as next week, much to the delight of the Gers in the bar.
