‘Walter Smith style’ – Rangers fans react happily following club’s Twitter post

Rangers fans here in the Tavern are delighted with their side’s performances under caretaker-manager Graeme Murty, as they find themselves in second-place.

Since the Bluenoses sacked former manager Pedro Caixinha back in late October, fans have seen their side enjoy an incredible run of form with caretaker manager Graeme Murty at the spearhead of the Rangers surge.

After losing 2 games in a row during the month of November, fans feared the worst for the future progression of the club with no sign of any permanent manager in sight, but after taking those two losses on the chin, Murty inspired fans to believe again on his way to taking the maximum 12 points from the 4 games since.

Having given the club better results than their former gaffer managed to do in the Scottish Premiership, supporters here in the Tavern have been screaming out for the Englishman to take permanent charge of the club, as he continues to earn a place in the hearts of the Ibrox faithful.

After taking on a Hibernian side who held bitter rivals Celtic to a 2-2 draw last time out, Murty’s future now looks even brighter after securing a 2-1 win at Easter Road. After the Wednesday night win, Rangers’ Twitter account took to posting the gaffers post-match interview, something that many Bluenoses took an interest in.

So, without further ado, here’s a look at what supporters made of comments made in the post-match press conference.
