Warburton-signed flop expected to leave Rangers amid overhaul

It’s already been a busy summer for the Rangers fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern, who are delighted to have seen Pedro Caixinha actively ripping up Mark Warburton’s squad.

Indeed, the Gers in the bar are desperate to see their side make strives to close the gap on Celtic and the new arrivals have already sparked excitement amongst our resident Light Blues.

It doesn’t end there.

According to the Scottish Sun, the Portuguese may soon ship out a Warburton flop amid interest from south of the border.

Josh Windass is reportedly of interest to the likes of MK Dons, Fleetwood Town and Peterborough after a disappointing year in Glasgow. The midfielder was brought to Ibrox from Accrington Stanley little over a year ago, though has struggled to make an impact in light blue.

The report claims the 23-year-old is one of the players expected to depart in order to make way for the new arrivals and, considering his first season in Scotland, not too many are overly concerned.

While much was expected of him upon his arrival at Rangers, the locals crowded around one section of the bar wouldn’t be too bothered to see him depart.
