‘What a player’, ‘Some performance’ – Delighted Rangers praise fan favourite after club’s Twitter post

Rangers fans here in the Tavern are hoping that Wednesday night’s cup triumph can set the tone for the Scottish Premier League, after a thumping 3-0 victory away at Fraserburgh.

Graeme Murty has completely redefined Rangers’ season since taking over at the club, as the Gers look to be well on their way to securing a European qualifying spot for next season to go with the possibility of a cup run. As their current second placed position is a great reward for the monumental efforts made by the English manager so far this season. And, their transfer window business only goes to add to the already flourishing Gers squad, after welcoming six fresh new faces to Ibrox during the month of January.

However, it was one of their young stars that’s stolen the headlines for the Glasgow side in recent times, as the highly sought after Josh Windass is enjoying a breakthrough season in his career with nine goals already to his name. And, last night’s game in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup saw him bag three of these, as Rangers’ Twitter account took to posting an image of the man of the match with his match ball.

Following the club’s post, fans were quick to praise the fan favourite on his performances for the side this season, as they hope to see the 24-year-old at Ibrox for plenty more years to come.

Nevertheless, here’s a look at exactly the sort of reaction given off by supporters on social media…
