Celtic fans here in the Tavern will be hoping that their side can secure the treble once again next season, as Brendan Rodgers continues to work wonders in Glasgow.
The Hoops will have their eyes set firmly on securing the treble once again next season, as they continue to dominate domestic football. And, Celtic were handed a major boost in their pursuit of a potential summer signing recently, as according to reported target Abel Hernandez’s personal Twitter account, the Uruguayan will leave Hull City.
Abel Hernandez recently took to Twitter to announce that he is leaving on a free transfer this summer after failing to agree a new contract.
The striker managed to bag himself eight goals in 10 appearances this season, and it will prove to be his final campaign, with Celtic being one of the many clubs that have been linked with the forward.
And, with Moussa Dembele often struggling to hold the ball up by himself at the pinnacle of the attack, perhaps Celtic will look to partner him up with the South American next season.
There’s no doubt that Abel Hernandez is a key target for Brendan Rodgers, as the 27-year-old would provide great support for Dembele at the pinnacle of the attack, while posing an attacking threat of his own. And, the striker could also be the missing piece when it comes to the Champions League, as Celtic have struggled to pose much of a threat in recent years.
