Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking for the squad to improve over the summer, however, they will be equally delighted with off-the-field improvements as well.
According to the Daily Record, the Bhoys are set to spend a massive £4million on helping to rebuild Parkhead, by installing a state-of-the-art light and sound show. It is expected to cost the Hoops around £2.3m to install as they look to compete with some of Europe’s giants in creating atmospheres in their major clashes.
The club are also looking to put down the final £1.3m to complete the installation of their new Hybrid pitch, which they hope will be ready before the season starts once again.
The Celtic fans in the Tavern will be delighted that they are adding to Celtic Park to make it one of Europe’s elite venues. The installation of the new technology could allow the venue to become a host for major European tournament finals, whilst it could also help to attract some of the stars of the game to join them in the green and white stripes.
The Hoops, who already dominate football in Scotland on-the-field, will be looking to use some available finance to help make them the number one club in the nation north of the English border.
