Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking ahead to next season as they will want their side to continue to dominate the Scottish Premiership once again.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have been extremely successful in the past couple of years and the locals will now expect the side to continue to build on that success, whilst also wanting to bring a number of players into the squad.
One man they signed last winter, Lewis Morgan, could be about to make another temporary switch away from the club as he looks to continue his development elsewhere. According to reports in the Scottish Sun, he could be set to rejoin former boss Jack Ross on a season-long loan deal at Sunderland, although he will need to wait until mid-July for a decision.
The 21-year-old is determined to hit the ground running with the Hoops, however, a loan deal in the English League One could do him wonders and could find the competition for a starting place at Celtic Park too much to handle at this present moment.
A loan move to Wearside could be beneficial to both Morgan and Celtic in the future. It would be difficult for the Scotland international to make a significant impact with the Bhoys straight away, considering the competition he will need to face, and Celtic will benefit from him getting regular first-team football in a hugely competitive league under his former boss.
