Celtic fans here in the Tavern will be hoping that their side can secure the treble once again next season after another successful campaign.
Brendan Rodgers will want his side to improve in Europe next season as they struggled to perform against the bigger clubs, with many of our local residents fearing the worst. And, it looks as if the Bhoys will desperately need to strengthen before the start of next season, as according to Sun Sport, Craig Gordon is on Manchester United’s shortlist.
Indeed, Celtic shot-stopper Craig Gordon is on Jose Mourinho’s goalkeeper shortlist.
The 35-year-old is tied to the Scottish champions until 2020, but Mourinho could look to lure him to Old Trafford as a direct replacement for Sergio Romero, who he seems to be resigned to losing.
Of course, the Scotsman was very impressive this season as he helped Celtic secure the treble, so the Hoops would be losing one of their star men if United decide to move for Gordon this summer.
Celtic supporters will be concerned that their star goalkeeper is being linked with a move away, as he was one of their standout performers this season. Indeed, many of our local residents are extremely shocked by the news story, as they never thought that a club like Manchester United would come calling.
