Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern will be expecting to see Brendan Rodgers make improvements to his squad this summer after watching what their Old Firm rivals have been doing.
Steven Gerrard’s Rangers have been busy making a number of their own additions during the window and the locals in the bar will want to ensure their club is still the number one side in Scotland.
Rodgers is determined to find a number of players to help strengthen his team in areas where they have been lacking and according to a report in The Scottish Sun, he could have found one player that is perfect.
The media outlet are claiming that Moses Odubajo has been invited to Austria for talks with the Hoops, following the expiration of his contract at Hull City. The 24-year-old, who has suffered from a serious injury over the last two years, is someone that has impressed those at the Hoops and believe he can have the chance to resurrect his career with them.
The right-back position is an area of concern for Rodgers, who is desperate to strengthen the area within his squad and could see Odubajo as a man that could help solve that particular problem.
Many of the locals will feel that it is a risk to sign the former England Under-20 international following two years out of the game, however, as he is a free agent, many will feel that it is a gamble worth taking.
