Rodgers seeks domination once again with transfer talks planned – Report

Celtic fans here in the Tavern will be hoping that their side can secure yet another treble in the new campaign after completely dominating in the last.

The Hoops will have their eyes set firmly one securing another treble next season but could definitely seek improvements in Europe. Encouragingly, it looks as if Brendan Rodgers is working hard to bring in additions, as according to the Daily Record, more talks are planned with Hibernian midfielder John McGinn.

The Celtic boss saw a £1.5 million offer for Hibernian midfielder John McGinn rejected last week but admitted more talks are planned.

Indeed, much to the delighted of many of our local residents, Rodgers has stated that he won’t give up the chase to land the highly-rated Scotsman.

Here’s what the Hoops boss had to say:

“I just wait to see what happens between the clubs, really.

“That will be organised, hopefully, between the two clubs – and hopefully we have another player.”

Landlord’s Verdict:

Interestingly, it looks as if Brendan Rodgers is seeking another season full of dominance as he has insisted that they won’t give up on John McGinn. The Scotsman could offer the Celtic midfield a different dynamic and will definitely improve them massively in attacking areas, so the Hoops will look to dominate once again next season.
