Although, they did suffer a setback on the injury front recently, as according to the Herald Scotland, Ryan Jack has been ruled out of Rangers’ Europa League clash with Villarreal.

The 26-year-old has looked impressive under the guidance of Steven Gerrard as one of the standout performers in the side, so the Bluenoses will be gutted to be without his services in Europe.
“Ryan Jack has done his calf and will be missing tomorrow and Thursday. He will be scanned for further assessment.”
Rangers will be desperate to enjoy some success in Europe under Steven Gerrard having worked their way through the qualification stages.
Although, they won’t be happy with Ryan Jack’s absence as he has been outstanding so far this season, so Gerrard will have to do his best to fill the big void left by the midfielder.
Villarreal are a tough Spanish side that have the ability to go all the way in the competition, which makes life even harder for the Rangers boss.
