On Sunday, Steven Gerrard took his Rangers side to Pittodrie to take on Aberdeen in his Scottish Premier League debut. The game finished 1-1, after the Gers put in a superb display. The fans, though, are in shock that 26-year-old Ryan Jack didn’t make the team of the week for his performance despite the fact that Nikola Katic was given a place in the eleven.

The team contained eleven players from eleven different clubs and if that’s why Jack wasn’t afforded a place then fair enough, however, the fans are adamant that he should have been included in the side. The impressive Scotsman provided plenty of energy from midfield and the fans are livid that he’s been overlooked in the team, although if he continues to play like he did on Sunday, there’s no doubt he’ll be in the team of the week in the future.
Ryan Jack came into the club last summer on a free transfer from Aberdeen and he’ll be keen to get his hands on some silverware under Gerrard in Glasgow. It looks like the 26-year-old has struck up a decent partnership with new loan signing, Lassana Coulibaly and if they can both carry on performing like they did on Sunday, bossing opposition midfield’s even with one less player on the pitch, then there’s no reason why Stevie G can’t end the season with some silverware.

Ryan Jack is missing troops, best get that fixed before anyone sees it…

Outrageous that Jack is not in there

As you can see, the Gers are shocked that their man hasn’t been acknowledged for his brilliance on Sunday, and they’ll be keen to have him included if he puts in more displays like the one at Pittodrie.
