Graham Dorrans’ time at Rangers has not gone as well as everyone would have hoped for when he first arrived.
Having arrived from Norwich City in July 2017, the Scotland international has been able to make just 23 appearances for the Light Blues.
The 31-year-old has been blighted with injuries during his time at Ibrox and it appears as though he has suffered another setback in his efforts to return.
Steven Gerrard has revealed on the club’s official Twitter page that everyone was ‘very frustrated’ with the recent problem and hoped it would not be too long before he does finally make a return.
SG: Dorrans had a setback a couple of weeks ago after doing really well, we hope it won’t be too long. He will go through a process building up to playing with the team. It’s very difficult at the moment to give a time. It’s very frustrating for us and for him.

Dorrans last appearance for Rangers was in their match against Ayr United, which was back in September.
Dorrans had been excellent during his spell at Norwich and many had hoped to see him shine at Ibrox, however, things certainly have not turned out as they would have liked.
The 31-year-old appeared to be on the verge of making a long-awaited return to the side last month but this latest setback has left him on the sidelines.
Although the news will be frustrating for everyone involved, Rangers did manage to significantly reinforce their midfield ranks over the past two transfer windows, so Gerrard and the Light Blues do still have a number of excellent options available to them as Dorrans looks to finally get over his injury nightmares.
