A lot of Rangers fans will have been made to eat their words by the club’s Colombian frontman, Alfredo Morelos this season. The 22-year-old striker has bagged three goals in seven games and looks as sharp as ever under Steven Gerrard.

The striker came under fire last season from a lot of Gers when he hit a poor patch of form, but he looks to have shut those negative supporters up as he looks to better his goal tally from last season under Gerrard’s tutelage this time around. Last time around the Colombian bagged 18 goals and eight assists in 43 games and he looks like he’s well on the way to bettering that this season as he opened his Scottish Premier League account against St Mirren on Sunday.
The young hitman is known affectionately as El Buffalo to the Gers and they’ll be hoping he can charge them on towards some silverware this season. Morelos’ trophy cabinet only contains the Finnish League and Finnish Cup medals and he’ll be desperate to add some Scottish silverware to that in the next 12 months. Celtic completed the double-treble, sweeping the treble in the last two seasons, and if Morelos can help his side break that rut and get their hands on one of the three available honours then he’ll go down as a hero to the Bluenoses.
