The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern had their weekend ruined yesterday. The Gers travelled to Parkhead to face their Old Firm rivals, Celtic and were thoroughly humiliated by Brendan Rodgers’ side, losing 5-0 and confirming the Scottish Premiership would be retained by the Bhoys in Green. Celtic now only need one more win the Scottish Cup Final to secure a back-to-back domestic treble.
FULL TIME: Celtic 5-0 Rangers

Rangers have had some tough results this season, although the worst two have come in the space of just two weeks, both against Celtic. Exactly two weeks before they travelled to Parkhead yesterday, the Bluenoses travelled to Hampden Park for their Scottish Cup semi-final clash with Celtic. The game wielded a similar result though as Graeme Murty’s side lost 4-0 at Hampden and have now lost 5-0 at Parkhead.
Rangers fans have been calling for Graeme Murty’s head for some time now and with the recent rumours that Steven Gerrard could be the man to usurp Murty, the fans want to see action taken as soon as possible. Pedro Caixinha was sacked back in October with Murty taking charge of the club as an interim coach, although in December he was given a full-time contract until the end of the season. Now, though, the end of the season can’t come quickly enough for the Gers who have had a terrible time over the last few weeks.
