Rangers fans here in the Tavern will be praying that their side can challenge Celtic next season, having failed to assert their dominance in the current campaign.
Interestingly, Steven Gerrard will be looking to ensure success at Ibrox after being appointed as the club’s new manager, with many of our local residents feeling extremely excited.
The Bluenoses will be desperate to bring a number of accomplished players to Scotland in the summer transfer window, with one eye set firmly on securing silverware and success. And, with Steven Gerrard at the helm, perhaps supporters will see a Liverpool player join the club in the summer, as Dominic Solanke, who is currently valued at £8 million (by Transfermarkt), would be quite the addition.
With that being said, to win the league, Rangers need to do their absolute best to sign Dominic Solanke in the summer…
Interestingly, loan signings have been effective for Rangers this season as the likes of Jason Cummings, Russell Martin, Sean Goss and Jamie Murphy have all impressed at times since joining in January. So, perhaps bringing Dominic Solanke to Ibrox on loan will work wonders for the club once again.
The Englishman has struggled to break into the starting lineup at Anfield this season as he continues to be used as an impact substitute, with a loan move looking likely in the summer transfer window.
However, the striker could help Rangers secure the Scottish Premiership title next season if they manage to land him in the summer, as Celtic have profited from bringing youngsters in on loan over the past few years.
