Rangers put in a rather disappointing performance against St. Johnstone on Saturday afternoon as they failed to secure all three points, with the opposition having a number of golden opportunities.
The Bluenoses currently find themselves trailing bitter rivals Celtic by eight points, so they’ll need to pull off something special to overturn the deficit from here on in.
And, it appears as if one of Steven Gerrard’s first-team members could leave this summer, as according to The Scottish Sun, Wes Foderingham has hinted that he could quit Rangers in the summer.
Indeed, the shot-stopper has failed to secure regular minutes in the current campaign as he’s found himself behind Allan McGregor in the pecking order at Rangers.
He replaced the banned McGregor against St. Johnstone on Saturday and pulled off a number of impressive saves.
“I won’t put a timescale on it. I’ll look at all the options that are available to me and make decisions based on that.
Wes Foderingham has plenty of ability and he’s been a great servant to Rangers over the years, but it’s understandable that he’s weighing up his options having received very few minutes this season.
So, it looks as if the Bluenoses could lose him at the end of the season, with McGregor still first-choice.
