Celtic will be desperate to assert their authority on proceedings from here on in until the end of the season, with the Scottish Premiership title still up for grabs.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have struggled to ensure consistency at times but the trailing pack have slipped up in recent times, which has handed Celtic the upper-hand in the race for the title.
However, with the January transfer window on the horizon, perhaps Rodgers will have a couple of possible additions in mind having witnessed his side’s performances.
Interestingly, the Hoops have reportedly been tracking the progress of Willem II’s Fran Sol, who has scored 16 goals in 19 appearances over in Holland this season. But, they aren’t the only team interested in securing his services, as Old Firm rivals Rangers are also thought to be weighing up a move.
Indeed, the Hoops would love nothing more than to unsettle Rangers’ transfer window plans by stealing one of their targets next month, with the title race still wide open at this point in the season.
Celtic are in desperate need of another striker having failed to replace Moussa Dembele up until this stage. And, with Odsonne Edouard struggling for support at the pinnacle of the attack at times, perhaps Rodgers should look to bring the prolific forward in as the perfect partner for the Frenchman.
The Spaniard looks to make use of his incredible dribbling ability and pace to get into promising positions and in behind, which would benefit Edouard massively as he likes to use his strength and power to hold up the ball and flick it on. So, with both of their goalscoring abilities at the pinnacle of the attack, the Hoops could become unstoppable.
