Celtic’s Karamoko Dembele certainly appears to have a bright future ahead of him.
Still only 15-years-old, the teenager was handed a professional deal by the Scottish Premiership champions towards the end of 2018.
The midfielder is thought off so highly, that it has been suggested that he could make his first-team debut for Brendan Rodgers’ side in the coming weeks, once he has his 16th birthday and becomes eligible to feature.
A self-proclaimed creative player who likes to put on a show, the youngster has been attracting plenty of hype about his ability from an extremely young age.
When he was just 13-years-old, he made an impression with those at Celtic when he featured for the Under-20 side – seven years above his own age group.
Fans have been keeping track of his development with the side closely ever since, with many excited for the future the schoolboy has at Paradise, which could be sooner rather than later.
Dembele was recently spotted in training with the senior side and it would not necessarily be wrong to assume that he could play a role as the season goes on, especially with the number of injuries the Bhoys have had to deal with.
The likes of Tom Rogic, Eboue Kouassi and Daniel Arzani are all out for a significant period of time, leaving the creative teenager a chance to impress and show what all the hype surrounding him is all about.
With the likes of James Forrest, Kieran Tierney, Callum McGregor, Anthony Ralston and Mikey Johnston all men that he has sourced inspiration from and admired their route from the Youth Academy ranks, Dembele could be one of the next men to make that jump.
With a namesake having been a former star for Celtic in the past – despite leaving in controversial circumstances – Karamoko has the chance of rewriting the ‘Dembele’ name into the Celtic Park history books.
