Rangers have looked rather promising under the guidance of Steven Gerrard in recent times, with European and domestic glory still within their reach.
The Bluenoses managed to secure all three points last weekend as they inflicted a 4-1 defeat upon Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership.
Interestingly, Rangers will travel to the Pittodrie Stadium to face Aberdeen in their next Scottish Premiership fixture. The Dons have struggled to ensure consistency in the current campaign and currently find themselves closer to the relegation zone, so this will be a game that the Bluenoses should look to take advantage of.
So, Steven Gerrard must get his team selection right by selecting these TWO Rangers stars…
Joe Worrall joined on a season-long loan from English Championship side Nottingham Forest during the summer transfer window, with a permanent move possibly in the offing.
Indeed, the central defender has been one of the most consistent performers for the Bluenoses this season, with defensive solidity almost always being a guarantee with him in the side.
Although, he did find himself on the substitutes’ bench against Hamilton Academical last weekend, so Gerrard must bring him back into his starting XI in the Scottish Premiership to face Aberdeen.
Eros Grezda joined Rangers on a four-year deal from Osijek during the summer transfer window, but he hasn’t been able to enjoy many minutes on the field this season due to an ankle injury.
However, he did enjoy eight minutes on the field for the Bluenoses last time out against Hamilton Academical, so he could be ready to start against Aberdeen at the weekend.
Indeed, Daniel Candeias has enjoyed a regular place in the side in recent weeks but has contributed very little during those appearances, so it’s vital that Grezda is given the chance to impress later on today.
