‘You will lose us all’ – Rangers fans on Twitter react to club’s investigation post

The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to the news that their club’s hierarchy has suspended both Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace after the pair reportedly had a furious row with manager Graeme Murty following the 4-0 Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic. According to Record Sport Kenny Miller is to have his Ibrox career ended over the incident whilst club-captain Lee Wallace is suspended.

The news coming out of the club though is that both players will be suspended as the club undergoes an internal investigation. Neither of the pair played any part in the game as Miller was an unused sub and Wallace missed out on a place in the squad altogether having missed most of the season after needing an operation on a groin injury. The duo supposedly ripped into manager Murty for his handling of the club’s defeat to Celtic at Hampden Park as the Gers handed rolled over for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Celtic’s win puts them in the driving seat as they’re now only a few weeks away from winning back-to-back Scottish trebles having picked up all of last season’s domestic honours as well as this year’s Scottish League Cup, with just a few league games and a Scottish Cup final against Motherwell standing in their way. The way they’re going, Rangers look to be slipping to another disappointment with nothing left to play for other than battling Aberdeen for 2nd place in the league as the season goes down as one to forget.
